Zelda March Smith, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away October 18, 2023, in Chattanooga, TN. She was born March 27, 1948, to the late Zelda M. Smith in Cleveland Ohio.
Zelda was an active activist for African American Rights. She was very smart, loving, and enjoyed thrift shopping.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Brandon Alexander Smith.
Survived by her daughter-in-law, Yesenia Pineda; grandchildren, Makenna Miranda, Prince Brandon Smith; step-grandchildren, Kamiyah Pineda and Gerald Putman, III; a host of friends and cousins in West Virginia.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
