Winston "Verlon" Clark

Winston Verlon Clark Jr., age 57, of Harrison, Tennessee, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2026.

Verlon was preceded in death by his parents, Effie Inez Harden Clark and Winston Verlon Clark Sr.

Verlon was of the Church of God faith, and his faith in Christ was a constant source of strength and comfort throughout his life.

A lifelong commercial fisherman, Verlon began working alongside his father on the boat at just eight years old. As he grew older, he chose to make commercial fishing his career as well. He had a deep love for the water, and few things brought him greater happiness than being out on a boat or sitting peacefully along the bank with a rod and reel in his hand.

Verlon was a dedicated and loving son and a good friend to all who knew him. His kindness, friendship, and love for the simple things in life will be fondly remembered. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Williamson Cemetery on Tennessee Highway 58.
