Willie B Scott Jr

Willie B. Scott, Jr., passed away on June 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Willie enjoyed sports, listening to music, watching movies, spending time outdoors, and traveling. He cherished the moments he shared with family and friends and created many lasting memories throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie B. Scott, Sr.; his mother, Helen T. Langston Scott; his son, Vincent M. Scott; his sisters, Viola Scott and Edna McLeroy; and his brother, Michael Tate.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his daughters, Lorraine Scott and Inez M. Scott; his sons, Thurston Stephens and Kenneth McGowan; his sisters, Mabel Bryant of Perry, Georgia, Deborah Chestnut of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Brenda of Knoxville, Tennessee; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members, and friends.

Scott also leaves behind his special friend and caregiver, Alice Turner, whose care and companionship meant so much to him.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm till 2:00pm on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel located at 2415 Georgetown Road, Cleveland, TN 37311. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Barns officiating.
