Willie Higgins

Willie Mae (Bowers) Higgins, 76, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home under the great care and help of Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willis J Bowers and mother Vergie G (Porter) Bowers, her brothers George and Raymond Bowers, as well as her sisters Eddie L Fox, Lovie G Watkins, Linda Bowers, Gracie L Way.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry D (Bowers) Renfro, son Jesse L Bowers; son-in-law Chris Long; grandchildren Amber L Renfro, Cody A Renfro and adopted grandson Zachery T Davidson, and her great granddaughter Taylor A Shell.

Willie was a loving and protective woman of her family, she was a force to be reckoned with when it came to any of them. This matriarch will be missed greatly and unconditionally.

Philippians 1:23:

"And if I am to stay in the flesh, it will mean I can continue my work of usefulness: and if I am to be released, it will be to be with Christ, which is far better."
