William Taylor Hawkins

Billy passed away June 17, just 7 days shy of his 75th birthday, in Cleveland, TN. Billy was born in Franklin, TN on June 24, 1948, and spent most of his life in the Nashville area. He moved to Cleveland 8 years ago to be close to his two kids, Chris, and Tracee.

Billy was a Madison High graduate, an Air Force veteran, serving 2 tours in Vietnam, the oldest son, brother to 2 brothers and a sister, a father, a husband, and a friend. He worked for the state of TN.

He is remembered by, son Chris Hawkins, daughter Tracee Smith & son n law Jon, sister Carol John’s & brother-in-law Jerry Johns, sister-in-law Peggy Hawkins, nephew Cale Hawkins, his aunt Peggy & Don Anders. Preceded by brothers Tippy & Tommy Hawkins, and parents, Walter, and Nell Hawkins.

Memorial service will be held July 3rd at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, TN. The church will be open at 10a with service starting at 11a.
