William Steenstra-Toussaint

William "Willem" Toussaint passed away on January 07, 2024 at his home in Saint Elmo, Tennessee surrounded by loved ones. Willem is survived by his beautiful wife, Carolyn, and their beloved cats.

Willem's 89 years were filled with worldly adventures, music, dancing, and cooking like a five-star chef. A natural storyteller, Willem regaled those around him with tales of this varied life he led...often more than once.

A veteran of the Army Air Force, William served his country from 1952-1960 and will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Gravesite Service will be at 12:30 January, 29th, 2024.
