William Thomas Martin

William "Sonny" Martin, age 65, of Benton, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord May 9, 2026. Born July 3, 1960, Sonny was a devoted husband, father, brother, and loved one whose life was centered on family. Sonny shared 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janice (Evans) Martin. He was also a hardworking entrepreneur who owned and operated Martin's Concrete in Ocoee, Tennessee for over 13 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice (Evans) Martin; his sons, Billy Evans, Johnny Martin, Jeffrey Self, Logan Self, and Ray Ray Russell; his sister, Ruthie Martin; and in-laws, Carolyn and Dale Farmer; and several nieces and nephews, in the Polk County, Tennessee area.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kattie Martin; his father, William Thomas Martin; his sister, Kathy (Martin) Russell; and his son, Bo Martin.
