William D. Gray, age 33, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away at his home on June 6, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1992, in Orange Park, Florida, to Wayne Gray and Christi Monroe.

On April 2, 2016, William married the love of his life, Janie Higginbotham, in Green Cove Springs, Florida. William was truly a "jack of all trades," known for his ability to fix anything with a motor and build whatever he set his mind to. He found joy in fishing, cooking, and working with his hands, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

William will be remembered most for his deep love and devotion to his wife and his two sons, who meant the world to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Gray; his sons, Emmett and Noah; his father, Wayne Gray; his brother, Marvin; his sisters, Meleini and Summer ; as well as four nephews.

Family and friends, and all those whose lives William touched, are invited to celebrate his life on July 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Asbury Community Center, located at 282 Branscomb Road, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043.
