William Bruce Daniels

William "Will" Bruce Daniels, 51, passed away peacefully at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee, on the morning of August 4, 2026. He was born September 6, 1974, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Will was a devoted husband, beloved son and brother, and cherished friend. To those who knew him best, he will be remembered as someone who laughed easily, enjoyed having a good time, loved helping others, and valued the freedom to live life on his own terms.

Will made his home in Knoxville, where he spent most of his working years in cable, satellite, and security installation. Hardworking and naturally handy, he had a knack for figuring things out and could repair just about anything.

Will was happiest when he could stay busy. There always seemed to be something to work on, somewhere to go, or something new to try. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, riding his dirt bike, and traveling. He loved gardening and could grow some of the best vegetables. He also had a longtime interest in firearms and enjoyed both building and working on them.

Friendship meant a great deal to Will. His friends were a huge part of his life, and if you were lucky enough to be one of them, he was the kind of friend who would help without expecting anything in return. Will probably never fully realized the impact he had on others, but his kindness had a way of staying with people. Pieces of him live on in the things he built, the people he helped, and the stories that will continue to be told.

Will shared twenty-five years with his wife and best friend, Shaina. Together they built a life filled with adventures and memories, from spontaneous kayaking and beach trips to simply going for a drive together. He often showed his love more through his actions than his words.

Will's final years brought significant health challenges, but those years were only one chapter of his story. He faced more than many people ever knew and carried much of it quietly. Illness was never the measure of his life or the man he was. After a long fight, Will was finally able to rest.

Will will be deeply missed by his wife, Shaina Daniels; his parents, Dean and Barbara Bender; his brother, Bryant Bender (Kerry); his aunt, Sandra Day (Duane); his great-aunt, Doris Mims; his father-in-law, John Dulworth; his mother-in-law, Shelia Dulworth; his brother-in-law, Jason Dulworth (Kristie); his lifelong friend, Lisa Skipper Henry; and many cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.

Will will be cremated, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, where those who knew and loved him can gather to share stories, memories, and plenty of laughter in his honor.
