William Heron Bradford, Jr. (Brad) ,61, a resident of Decatur passed away on May 12th, 2026, peacefully. Brad loved his work, driving a truck for over forty years. He had many journeys. He loved exploring new places. When he wasn't driving a truck he loved taking his kids, grandkids, niece (Chancy), nephew (Kylar) and friend (James Brown) on adventures as well. They would ride side by sides, go riding through mountains, take his motorcycle out, and go camping. He was family and friend oriented. He would give the shirt off his back to the ones he loved. he will be missed dearly.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Essie Bradford; on his fathers side, Ben and Martha Brackett; on his mother's side, his parents William (Bill) Bradford and Nancy Bradford; and his late brother, Shane Bradford.
He is survived by his children, William Heron Bradford III, Rebecca Hope (Michael S.) Cunningham, and Haley Ciera Bradford; his grandchildren, Issac Ogle, Kaley Bradford, and Braylie Ogle; step grandchildren, Leland and Evelynn Cunningham; his sisters, Cathy Brand And LeeAnn Chadwick; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on May 29th, 2026 from 2:00pm til 4:00pm with his Memorial service starting at 4:00pm at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel.
