William "Bert" Lloyd, Jr.

William “Bert” Lloyd, Jr., 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away at his home, surrounded by loved ones on October 4, 2020.
Bert married the love of his life, Carol (Penley) in 1965 and remained married until his passing. Bert is survived by his wife; daughters Jenni Lloyd (TN), Heather Robertson (AR), and Sanya Woods (NC); and son-in-law Eric Woods (NC). Bert was “Papa” to five grandsons Keaton, Joey, William, Walker and Wyatt.

Bert was born in Covington, TN, and lived in Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, New Jersey, and Atlanta before settling in Cleveland, TN. In his early years Bert enjoyed many adventures from motorcycle racing to scuba diving. Once becoming a devoted husband and father, Bert enjoyed rambling in the mountains, a good craft beer, reading books, and piddling around on his property in Calhoun, TN.

There will be no service at this time. The family will have a celebration of life for friends and family at a later date.

If inclined, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
