Willa Jean McDole Clouse, 93, of Cleveland, TN and formerly of Sparta, TN, passed away on November 2, 2025. She was born in Sparta, TN on September 21, 1932 to the late Ray and Beulah McDole.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Glynda White (Jimmy Braxton "J.B." White).

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Shawna Burke; grandson Chandler Burke (Morgan) and great-granddaughter, and namesake, Willa Burke.

Jean's childhood was shaped by the hum of her father's service station and the laughter echoing from the roller skating rink he owned. It was in that rink that Jean first laced up a pair of roller skates, gliding in circles until she became a true standout on wheels.

Jean had a 35 year career as Office Manager for Red Kap Industries. Her life in Sparta was rich with faith and community. She was a devoted member of Sparta First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and shared her kindness with friends and neighbors. In her free time she found adventure in the outdoors-waterskiing across sparkling Tennessee lakes and tending to her flower garden, always eager for a new thrill or quiet moment surrounded by blooms. Jean was also an avid reader.

When retirement called, she moved to Cleveland, TN to be closer to her daughter Shawna and grandson Chandler. She joined Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and threw herself into the joys of gardening, transforming her backyard into a vibrant display of blooms.

Jean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Sparta, TN.

The family would like to thank Legacy Village of Cleveland and Hospice of Chattanooga for care and love provided for Jean.
