Wilda Loretta Cook

Wilda Loretta Cook, 86, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, at a local healthcare facility. Wilda was born to the late Ernest and Mable Lindamuth on December 5, 1931. Wilda and her husband Charlie Payne played the Grand Ole Opry and also had multiple theaters they had opened. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Maple Lindamuth; brother, Ray Lindamuth.
Survived by her children, Dana Lyn Rook, Dixie L. Perry, Charles Payne; sister, Peggy Briggs; grandkids, Ross Perry, Curtis Payne, Misty Fedum, Christy Hixson, Chauncy Griffith; grandkids, Knox Fedum. Eleanor Hixson. Dominic and Deacon Payne. Aiden, Bryce and Abagail Griffith.
There will be a celebration of life service Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home – Cleveland Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
