Wesley Montgomery Martin, 8 days old, of Calhoun, Tennessee, passed away on May 15, 2026.
Born on May 7, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Wesley was the son of Austin and Loren Martin.
Wesley is preceded in death by his four great-grandfathers; Charles Martin, Lonnie Marvin White, Sam Kramer, and Joseph Mizell, as well as his two great-grandmothers; Idell Mizell and Sarah Kramer. He is also preceded in death by his two cousins; Easton Poole and Jayden Mizell.
Along with his loving parents, left to cherish his memory is his brother, Weston Martin. Additionally, he is survived by his grandparents, Michael and Rebecca Kramer, and Stephen and Tonya Martin; his four aunts; Jodell Pridemore, Jessica Mizell, Madison Medley, and Casey Poole; his four uncles, Nelson Peters, Joseph Poole, Shane Pridemore, and Dillon Kramer; his eight cousins, Dawson Peters, Eden Mizell, Paislee Poole, Londyn Lovelady, Cambrie Poole, Lylith Lovelady, Brantley Poole, Brycen Poole, and Jacob Pridemore. Also left to cherish his memory are his two great-grandmothers; Barbara White and Betty Jane Martin.
Wesley earned the nickname "Hollywood," which fit him perfectly. He adored cuddling his crocheted octopus. Wesley was so happy when Daddy read to him, and he loved when Mommy and Daddy sang to him. He especially loved it when Daddy told him all about the Braves game.
A visitation will be held in Wesley's honor on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Ridge Sanctuary at Companion Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., with a burial to follow at Lee Cemetery.
Wesley will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
