Wayne McFarlin

Hubert (Wayne) McFarlin of Rossville GA passed away on July 4th, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on August 4th, 1947, to Hubert and Juanita McFarlin. He enjoyed watching the cowboys play, watching western movies, playing domino’s going to church and spending time with family. He was of the Pentecostal faith and involved in his church.

Wayne was preceded in death by his sister (Patricia Berry), mom (Juanita McFarlin), father (Hubert McFarlin), and niece (Trisha McFarlin Cooper).

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Lola McFarlin; children Sheryl Gilbert spouse Marcus Gilbert, Mark McFarlin spouse Carolyn McFarlin , Angela Mozingo spouse Nick Mozingo and Julia McFarlin; brother, Mike McFarlin spouse Debbie; grandchildren, Justin Gilbert spouse Stormy Gilbert, Landon Gilbert spouse Malorie Gilbert, Sean Gilbert spouse Ashley Gilbert, Mackenzie Wicks spouse Cameron Wicks, Crystal McFarlin, Amber McFarlin and Greg McFarlin ; great-grandchildren, Jude, Asher, Jenna, Olivia, Natalie, Myles, Aireanna, Brianna, Gerran, Gabriel, Alyson and Ivy. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 8th at Grace Tabernacle 1401 Pacific Ave Iowa Park, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Church of Iowa Park, TX in Wayne McFarlin’s honor.
