Warren C. Bivens

Warren C. Bivens, 75, of Delano, TN passed away on March 1, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born on March 18, 1940 to the late Hird Andrew and Ella Mae Bivens. Warren was a lifelong resident of this area and was a former member of Son Life Ministries and current member of Set Free Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, talking, and “porch sittin.” However, above all things he loved his family and spending time with them.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by three brothers: Dennis Bivens, Troy Bivens, and Hubby Bivens; sister Jacquillon Hamilton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years Judy Bivens; three sons: Roger Bivens (Theresa), Daren Bivens (Deborah), and Chris Bivens (Lynn); sister Lavellda Davis; grandchildren: Amy Elrod, Brandi Bivens, Brian Bivens, Sam Raby, Mandie Ramsey, Mercedes Bivens, and Cheyenne McIntosh. In addition to these he leaves behind ten great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday March 4, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the 7:00pm service time at the funeral home on Friday.
