Wanda Price

Wanda Price, 87, passed away September 18, 2025, in Benton, TN. Wanda was born July 8, 1938, in Cleveland, TN, to Loyal "Howard" Broomfield and Hazel Broomfield.

Wanda graduated in 1956 and started her career in the banking industry. She worked in several banking locations throughout Cleveland and retired after 38 years of service. She then enjoyed her retirement years with family and friends.

Wanda was married to Charles "Sonny" Price, and they enjoyed their lives together in Carthage and Benton, TN.

Wanda was best known for putting OTHERS FIRST. Her greatest loves were the Lord and her family. She was dedicated to her Church where she served as Pianist for many years. She also enjoyed Gardening, Canning, Cooking, and Turkey Hunting.

Wanda is survived by her spouse, Charles "Sonny" Price, her brother Loyal (Connie) Broomfield, her children- Cindy (Leo) Lametterey, Sheila (Dean) Wilson, Eric (Julie) McNelly, Ivan (Jane) McNelly, Susan (Stephen) Mowery, and Cindy Price, her Grandchildren- Micah Swearengin, Colton Swearengin, Nathan (Mekahla) Mowery, Hannah (Briar) Lowe, Chloe (Austin) Rogers, Silas McNelly, Ethan (Emma) McNelly, Nathan (Kayla) McNelly, Nick (Peyton) Mowery, Naaman (Tabitha) Mowery, Will Garren, and Savannah Garren and Great-Grandchildren- Nola, Trinity, Matthew, Ava, Carter, Holden, Everett, Axel, and Sunnie Mae.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Loyal "Howard" Broomfield and Hazel Broomfield and her sister, Beverly (Herman) Rush.

The Celebration of Life for Wanda will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Beech Spring Baptist Church, Old Fort, TN. The family will receive friends from 11am - 1:30 pm with Memorial Service to follow at 1:30 pm.
