Wanda Harris

Wanda Kaye Harris, 76, passed away September 21, 2024, at Soddy Daisy Healthcare. She was born January 3, 1948, to the late Norma & Richard Barnes and of the Baptist faith. Wanda loved cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, children in the neighborhood, and taking care of her dog, Francis.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by Jimmy Barnes and Nancy Barnes.

Left to cherish her memories, her companion, John William Thacker; sons, John E. Thacker and Brian (Tina) Thacker; daughter, Lesa (Mike) Seals; sister, Linda Barnes; grandchildren, Casey (Brianna)Thacker, Steven Raines, Briana (Cody) Thacker, Spring Pendergraph, Donovan Seals, and Marcus (Kelsy) Cash; great-grandchildren, Mason and Ka'Maria Cash; special niece, Rhonda Barnes and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
