Wanda Fay Thomason

Wanda Fay Thomason, 60, a lifelong resident of Polk County passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who especially loved her grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of Zion Baptist Church. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, L.B. “Gobe” Bridges.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Edwin E. “Lige” Thomason; children, Julie (Hank) Hicks and Lucas (Brittany) Thomason grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Abigail, and James Headrick, as well as Baby Thomason who is on the way; mother, Ethelene Rogers Bridges; sister, Judy (John) Thomason; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 1, 2019 at Zion Baptist Church from 5-8pm. the celebration of life service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 2, 2019 with the interment following in the church cemetery
