Wanda Sue Browning, 67, passed away peacefully at her home in McDonald, TN with her daughter by her side. She will be remembered for her resilience, strength, and courage after battling many illnesses.
Wanda was a long-time resident of East Ridge, TN where she spent her days as an incredible homemaker. There she enjoyed cooking delicious meals, working in her gardens, spending time with her beloved family and friends, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols. Most of all, her greatest joy was being "Mimi" to her 6 grandchildren. She loved every moment with them, and they adored her sweet and sassy soul. She was of Baptist faith and viewed online services every Sunday morning.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Todd Browning; parents, Reba and Delbert Collins; brother, Doyle Collins; niece, Chrissy Bowers; and nephew, Billy Venable Jr.
Those left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters, Heather (Tyler) Schmitt and Brandy Browning; grandchildren, Shianne, Tyecen, and Declan Schmitt, Shaylea Browning, Jaevin and Maleah Pascual; her sister and best friend Faye (Jimmy) Everett; brothers Dwan Collins and David (Maybelle) Collins.
Join the family for her Celebration of Life Potluck Memorial on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church.
