Wanda Gay Bishop

Wanda Gay Bishop, 71, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was born to the late Gus and Martha Baker Riffe on May 25, 1955.

Wanda's top priority was always being a mother and grandmother. Wanda liked to spend her time attending church, going to gospel concerts, and singing. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, playing cards, board games, arcade games, and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her brothers, Mack Arthur Riffe, and Michael Vestal.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ray Bishop, son, Jeff (Laura) Bishop, grandchildrens, Kaydon Mullins, Tristan Mullins, Alyssa Mullins, Orion Bishop, and her siblings, Andrew (Dorothy) Riffe, and Glenda (Eddie) Arrington.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Family Worship Center in Jolo, West Virginia.
