Wanda Lynn Anderson

Wanda Lynn Anderson, 75, of Collegedale, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, in a local healthcare center. She was born August 22, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Burnham and Cornelia Henderson.

Wanda worked in production at Little Debbie before retiring and was a member of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved the outdoors and spent her retirement volunteering. She previously served as a deaconess-collecting offerings, greeting visitors, helping with weekly potluck rotations, and handing out drinks after SonRise. She also volunteered at the former Heaven's Bounty food pantry in Apison and with the Singles Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burnham Henderson; her mother, Cornelia Henderson; and her brother, Mike Henderson.

Survivors include her son, Andrew Thomas Anderson Jr., of Collegedale; her sister, Kathie Brown, of Chattanooga; and her brothers, Greg (Rose) Henderson of Livingston, Tennessee, and Ralph (Joni) Henderson of Kernersville, North Carolina.

Arrangements are by Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, Chattanooga. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Collegedale Church assistance fund.
