Walton Hyde

W. Scott Hyde, beloved husband of Lois I. Hyde, died November 13, 2024. He was 81 years old, a native of Roatan Honduras and resident of New Orleans, LA and later Collegedale, TN. He retired as captain of the New Orleans Police Department and later became a registered nurse.

Heis survived by three daughters, Kimberly (Mario) Benoit, Julie Hyde, and Jonette (Bill) Dearing and six grandchildren, Allie (Edgar) Rios; Macy, Curtis, Ty, and Meg Dearing; and Nicholas Saarinen, and one great-grandchild, Javi Rios. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
