Walter Bowers

Walter "Gene" Bowers, 62, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Gene was born on September 2, 1961 in Cleveland to the late W.A. and Eva Sue Bowers.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Ray Bowers; and his sisters, Linda Sue Bowers, and Debbie Louise Bowers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his companion of 14 years, Kathy Tarpley; son, Walter "Archie" Bowers; his brothers, David (Sharon) Bowers, Kenneth (Donna) Bowers, and Don (Lisa) Bowers; and his grandchild, Zane Casteel; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor Edwin Lipsey officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
