Vonda McMinn

Vonda Arleen McMinn, born December 31, 1959, unexpectedly joined her sisters, mother, and father in Heaven July 1, 2025.

A precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, she loved and lived well. Always funny, creative and caring, Vonda carried this into all aspects of life. As a retired hospice nurse, she understood intentional time with those she loved. Her family was the source of her joy, heartbeat and unfailing love.

Vonda's love story with her sweetheart, Randy, for 42 years was truly "Meant to be," their favorite phrase for one another. She fiercely loved her son Scotty, daughter-in-love Stephanie and all eight of her grandkids: Jacob, Izak, Patrick, Brady, Shayla, Jase, Alexes, Kallie and great-grandchild Jayden. Her Sister Days were some of her favorites and as those days became smaller with the loss of both her sisters Carla and Theresa, Vonda and her sister Lynette still carried those on, pulling in their brother Jackie when he would come along. Her nieces and nephews were especially close with her. "My Sarah" as she lovingly called one, was her trusted confidante and together they enjoyed much laughter, talks, and time together.

Vonda was able to rest peacefully at her and Randy's tranquil "River Beach House" in her final week listening to her favorite music, and being tended to as she often cared for her family and others.

A private celebration of her living and loving may be held at a later date.
