Virginia McGill

We are sad to announce that the world lost a true woman of God. Mrs. Virginia Aliene McGill went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 2, 2025, with her family by her side. Born June 15, 1952, to the late Walter and Bessie Burton. She is also proceeded in death by four brothers and sisters.

She was a true Christian who served her Savior and her church for many years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, James (Butter) McGill; sons, James Branam of Cleveland and Jerry (Sonya) Branam of Benton; brother, Wayne (Brenda) Burton of Georgetown; grandchildren, Nikki (Ryan) Snyder and Matthew (Virginia) Branam; great-grandchildren; Jack Snyder, Walker Branam and Charlee Branam, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home Ridge Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 in the Shelli Cody Sanctuary.
