Virginia Myrtle Armstrong

Virginia Myrtle "Jenny" Armstrong, 71, a lifelong resident of Cleveland TN passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, in a local hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland on November 6, 1954. Virginia was of the Christian faith and enjoyed cooking, crafting, visiting antique and thrift stores and chatting with her family while drinking her coffee.

Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 28 years Michael Armstrong, her mother and father Doug and Margie Yarber, one son Philip Sluder and his wife Betty, one daughter Chrissy Sluder, one brother David Yarber, six grandchildren Ashley, Arionna, Autumn, Brandon, Colby and Savannah, 10 great grandchildren, one sister in law Jennifer McCracken (Kenny) numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A graveside service is planned for Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Hiwassee Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Ed Brown officiating.
