Vickey Woodby

Vickey Lynn Axley Woodby, age 59, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, December 5th, 2025 at UT hospital. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but they have comfort knowing she is now reunited with her son, Dustin, and enjoying her Heavenly home.

Vickey loved her family, friends and especially her "fur babies", her cats Cookie, Cola and Gracie. She will forever be remembered for her sassy personality her contagious laugh and her wonderful cooking. She could whip up a delicious meal without any thought and never needed a recipe!

Vickey is proceeded in death by her son, Dustin Terry; father, Sam Axley; and grandparents, Harless (Pearl) Cansler, Bill (Inez) Axley.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda Axley; sister, Tonya Phenix; niece, Kinsey Phenix; nephew, Hunter (Amber) Brannon; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 11, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church in Loudon, TN at 6:00pm and a meal immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children's Hospital Knoxville or Ronald McDonald House Knoxville.
