Vesta Mae Alford

Vesta Mae Alford, 98 of LaFollette, TN, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2026 at the LaFollotte Nursing Home. Born on April 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Elisa Keller Wood and Vesta Irene (Hackworth) Wood.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son Raymond E. Alford and his wife Stacha; her brother Raymond Wood and his wife Vicki; and her sisters Mary Pike and Linda Zabel; several nieces and nephews; her grandchildren Cody R. Alford and wife Jesse and Amber L. Jafstfer and husband Austin; great grandchildren Cillian and William Alford, Henry Jasstfer and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Alford; her son Warren V. Alford; brothers Willis, Don, James, Floyd, Gilbert and Doug Wood; and her sisters Janet Hannah and Edna Pierce.
There will be a private funeral in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
