Vernon "Ronnie" Eugene Walker Sr.

Vernon "Ronnie" Eugene Walker Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

Ronnie was a man who found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, and those who knew him best will remember the peace he found in nature and the stories he loved to share from his time spent in the woods and on the water.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Edna Walker; his son, Vernon Eugene Walker Jr.; brothers, George and Jimmy Walker; and sisters, Nancy Innis and Debbie McKee.

Ronnie is survived by his sons, Ronnie and Tyler Walker; daughter, Michelle Walker; sister, Phyllis Ogle; grandchildren, Tanner Guinn, Grace Staton, Hailey and Courtney Walker; as well as several great-grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that notes of encouragement be sent as a way to honor Ronnie's memory and support his loved ones during this time.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate his life.
