Tulie Swilling

Tulie Mae Chastain Swilling, age 88,went to rest in the Lord, at 2:30 am, October 10,2024.

She was proceeded in death by her mother Exie Stewart Gordon and father Berthold Allen Chastain; husband Thomas Winfrey Swilling; son Danny Lamar Swilling; and daughter Tina Swilling Falkowski.

She is survived by her sister, Syble Gordon Priehs of Montezuma, Ga; her sons Thomas Allen Swilling of Hixon, and Ralph Stephen Swilling of Cherokee, NC; daughter Cheri Yvette Childs (Jonathan); grandchildren Helen Warren, Thomas Swilling III, Adam Swilling, Carl Swilling, Matt Swilling, Dustin Swilling, Misty (Mark) Johnson, Cristy Shahan, and many great and great grandchildren.

Tulie retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital in 1999. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Georgetown, Tn. She lived in Birchwood, Tn.

A viewing will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday, October 17th, from 4-6pm, with service at 6:00 pm, Mark Johnson officiating, at the Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN. Tulie will be buried at McInturff Cemetery at a later date.
