Trinity Danielle Scott, age 21, passed away on February 11, 2026.
Trinity was one of the most loving and compassionate souls anyone could ever know. Though she was born with a genetic disorder and faced illness throughout her life, she never allowed her struggles to define her. Instead, Trinity was always more concerned about the well-being of others than her own. She often reassured those around her with the words, "Mommy, I'll be just fine-you don't have to worry about me."
Her strength, courage, and selflessness were remarkable beyond her years. Trinity's gentle spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and she will be remembered as one of the strongest and most beautiful souls to walk this earth.
Preceded in death by father, David White; grandfathers, Bobby Scott and Scott Hassell; great grandparents, JB and Louise Scott and Lucy Carroll and Poppy; and uncle, Eddie (Hubert) Carroll.
Survivors include her mother, Amanda Scott Rendfeld (Tim); brothers, Tristin Watson (Sophie), David Paul White (Taylor), Cameron Rendfeld; sister, Montana Katie White; grandmother, Geneva Hassell; aunts, Destinie Hassell (JC) and Crystal Lankford; uncles, Dallas Hassell, Danny White (Michelle), and Norman White; and many cousins, and other loved friends and family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1:00pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens with Pastor David Carroll officiating the service. A visitation will be held prior from 11:00am-1:00pm. A graveside service will be following the funeral at East Sweetwater Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tristin Waston, Sean Watson, Hunter Poe, JW Snipes, JC Day and Justin Holley.
You are invited to share a personal memory of Trinity or your condolences with her family at her online memorial located at www.companionfunerals.com. Companion Funeral Home of Athens and the Cody family are honored to assist the family with these arrangements
