Tony Monroe Crisp, 65, a resident of Georgetown, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1961, in Decatur, TN, a son of the late Ora M. and Blossie E. Crisp. Tony loved hunting arrow heads, hunting, and fishing. He loved his family and his wife very much. While he was not a man of many words, when he had something to say he wanted you to listen and listen well often saying "Look at me when I am talking to you!". He loved the Lord very much and enjoyed sharing with others about the Lord. We thank God for the wonderful times we had with him one on one. He was at peace with his Lord and Savior and we know that now he is at peace with Jesus. "Amen"
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by eight sisters Carrie J. Couey, Anna M. Crisp, Shirley D. Grissom, Betty Jo Crisp, Margie M. Grissom, Linda M. Nation, Barbara J. Grissom and Christine Nation, and five brothers Wade Crisp, Dee Crisp, Mark Crisp, Bill D. Crisp and Gary Dale Crisp.
Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Linda Dale Crisp, one son Dale Britt, three daughters Jennifer Britt, Tonya Crisp and Toni Crisp, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, three sisters Boothie Rogers, Katherine Ramsey and Patsy Guthrie, four sisters in law Sandra Clayton, Tonya Johnson, Johnnie Davis and Connie Berdit, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A graveside service is planned for Monday, July 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Paul Bowman officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
