Toby Zumstein

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Toby Allen Zumstein, born on May 4, 2005, in Cleveland, TN. He left this world too soon on August 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Toby, a talented carpenter, had a knack for working with his hands and loved spending time in the construction industry. He cherished the moments spent working alongside his dad, Tobie, and his grandfather, Ray, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Toby was an adventurous soul who had a passion for drag racing, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. He had a special bond with his sister, Ellie Zumstein, and took great joy in his role as a soon-to-be father to baby Elijah, expected to arrive soon.

Toby's artistic side shone through in everything he did, and his creativity knew no bounds. He was surrounded by a loving family including his mother and father, Tobie and Heather Zumstein; his beloved sister, Ellie; niece, Coralee Eckhart- Zumsteint; grandparents, Robert and Rhonda Combs; grandfather Ray Zumstein and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will all miss him dearly. He also leaves behind a fiancé, Jacklyn Cronan, who will carry his memory in her heart forever. He also leaves behind special uncle and family Stacy Bullard.

Toby is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Ellen Culberson and Connie Massengill.

The family will be holding a celebration of life service at Tabernacle Worship Center on Sunday August 24th at 7pm with visitation prior to the service from 5pm - 7pm. The church address is 995 Benton Pike NE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
