Listen to Obituary

Thomas (Tommy) Shamblin, 80, of Cleveland Tennessee passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, January 12, 2026. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and would defend them religiously against anyone and you would never win an argument when it came to his team.

He was a member of the National Guard and also attended a trade school to become a diesel mechanic. He worked for many years at Bowater before retiring and beginning many other endeavors including managing Deer Ridge RV Park. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a very generous man and would give anyone anything they needed even if it meant doing without himself. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He loved his wife, Sharon, with all his heart and she will feel his absence daily.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, John Wiley Shamblin and Louise Sarah Shamblin along with his brother, Sam Shamblin; his Grandfather, Samuel Leamon; and Aunt, Jackie Leamon.

In addition to his loving wife, Sharon, he is survived by 2 sons, Eric and Jamie (Mallory) Shamblin; stepson, Timmy James; stepdaughters, Brittany James and Christi Brown; grandchildren Aleah McKenzie (Kolten), Chloe Craig (Tyler), Hailey McKenzie, Chance Cross (Brilee), Colton Cross, Calli Randall, Abbey James and Hunter James, Garrett Shamblin, Jacob Shamblin, Jocelyn Shamblin and Peyton Shamblin; great grandchildren Paislee Shaw, Huxlee Dixon, Ellie Randall, Harvey Randall and Haiden James and nephew, John (Jamie) Shamblin along with a host of many friends.

There will be no public service at this time per his wishes
