Theresa Lively

Theresa Ann Carter Lively, age 66, of Ringgold, Ga, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born on January 23, 1957, in Chattanooga, TN.

Theresa lived most of her life in Ringgold, Ga. She loved animals, her favorite tv shows and spending time with her family and making them laugh.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Carter and Marguerite Carter, brothers Jimmy Carter and David Carter, sisters Debbie Peters and Penny Bowman.

She was survived by her son Michael (Danielle) Cagle, daughter Takeysha (Lamar) Barbee, brother Alan (Janice) Carter; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Theresa was loved dearly and will be deeply missed. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Hope Church, 2 Harker Rd, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to an animal shelter or animal foundation.
