Thelma Jean Smith

Thelma Jean Smith, 87, of Cleveland passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Calhoun, TN and had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 64 years. Thelma was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed garednening, taking care of people and feeding them and taking care of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Josesph Coffman; husband, Larry Smith; son, Bobby Coffman; grandson, Bobby Coffman, Jr.; and several borthers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheilla Reavis, Beverly (Bill) Sioutis; Martha Gibson and Tresia (Buford) Horton; 4 sisters; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Cleveland Chapel on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 2pm to 3pm. A Celebrations of Life will follow at 3pm with Rev. Doug Ingram officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
