Thelma Irene Chaplin

Thelma Irene Chaplin, 84, of Rossville, GA, passed away March 2, 2024. She was a God-fearing woman, of Baptist faith, read her bible faithfully, and loved by all. She never met a stranger. Thelma loved gardening, canning, and fishing. She also loved to watch dirt track racing and spending time with her family.

Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chaplin; sons, Thomas, Timothy, and Matthew Chaplin; her parents, Ira & jessie Sours; several brothers and sisters, Charles, Gene, Ira Jr., Mildred, Leona, Mary Ellen, and Billy.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Joseph Chaplin and Mark Chaplin; siblings, Bessie, Dorothy, Betty, and Clarence; grandchildren, Thomas, Anna, Sarah, Ember, Nikki, Tiffany, Joe, Shawn, Troy, Mike, Matthew, and Shelby; and a host of great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness, in Thelma Chaplin's name.
