Terry Ware

Terry Ware, 78, passed on August 25,2026 at home surrounded by family. He was born December 28, 1947. Terry was a graduate of Marion County High School, Class of 1967. He was an avid football, basketball and golden gloves participant. Terry retired from Helton Roofing.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Nellie S. Spears of Jasper, Tennessee, parents Charles and Ophelia Ware from Jasper, Tennessee, brother Bobby Ware of Pontiac, Michigan; sisters Ida Joyce Crutcher and Lynda Curtis, both of Jasper, Tennessee.

Survivors include Terry's twin brother, Jerry Ware and his sister's Madelin Ware and Nita (Richard) Footner of Pontiac, Michigan; host of cousins, uncles and nieces, and his significant other Joyce Duke and family.

A private memorial service for family will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to thank all who showed acts of kindness during this time of sorrow. Whatever you have done to console their hearts will always be remembered. May God continue to bless and keep each and everyone of you.
