Terry Gene Beaty

Terry Gene Beaty, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. Born on October 29, 1947, Terry was the son of Lee and Jessie Beaty.

Terry was a lifelong automobile enthusiast who never missed a car show in Cleveland and enjoyed attending the World of Wheels events in Birmingham and Chattanooga, as well as shows in Orange Beach. He had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and American muscle cars and was a proud member of the Corvette Club.

Professionally, Terry served as Vice President of Beaty Fabricating, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication. Terry was also a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Beaty.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Patsy Beaty; his mother, Jessie Beaty; his son, Stacy Beaty (Wendy); stepdaughter, Tracy Kellar; sisters, Judy Digennero and Carolyn Goodsworth; grandchildren, Emma Creswell (Walker), Samantha Tilghman (Conner), Tyler Kellar, and Tiffany Lester; and great-grandchildren, Paige Lester, Hunter Coy, A.J. Coy, and Kasey Kellar.

Terry will be remembered for his passion for cars and motorcycles, his devotion to his family, and the many friendships he made throughout his life.

Terry's family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday May 19th in the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN. A celebration of Terry's life will be held at 4pm on Wednesday May 20th at the funeral home with Dr. Sammy Hooker and Pastor David Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Triplett Cemetery.
