Listen to Obituary

Tennille Sue Couch, of Delano, Tennessee, passed away October 5th, 2025. She was a mother, grandmother, and friend whose light, laughter, and love touched everyone who knew her.

Tennille will be remembered for her love of her grandson, Arlan, rap music, and Alabama football. She had a spirit that filled every room she entered - quick to laugh, even quicker to love, and always ready to stand by the people she cared about. Her friends will remember countless nights full of stories, jokes, and music that seemed to make everything feel okay for a while.

Those closest to her knew her as someone who could be tough when she needed to be but whose heart was softer than she'd ever admit. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly supportive, and always the first to show up when someone needed her.

She is survived by her beloved grandson, Arlan; her husband, Jimmie Couch; her daughter, Skylar Couch; her stepfather, Randall "Hoss" Rogers; her sisters, Misty Johnson and Kelley Waters; and her niece and nephew, Jasa and Landen Johnson - along with a wide circle of friends who loved her like family.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Waters; her mother, Glenda Stewart Rogers; and her father, Dan Waters.

Her memory will continue to live on in every song, every game day, and every moment of laughter shared in her name.
