Tammy Diane Drye, age 56, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on May 22, 2026. Born on January 26, 1970, in Cleveland, Tennessee, Tammy was a woman whose warmth, laughter, and compassionate spirit left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Tammy was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, caring daughter, sister, and friend. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought endless light into her life. Whether gathered around the dinner table, enjoying outings to the beach, or simply sharing laughter together, Tammy treasured every moment spent with those she loved most.
She had a vibrant personality and a heart that naturally drew people in. Tammy loved singing along to her favorite 80's music, being surrounded by her animals, and helping anyone in need. She had a remarkable ability to form lifelong friendships and was often the smile and encouragement someone else desperately needed. Her kindness, strength, and loving nature will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Paul Howard.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Steven Drye; her four daughters, Jessica Kitts, Ashley Baggett (Erik), Whitney Vargas (Edwin), and Kayla Smith (Cory); her beloved grandchildren, including two grandsons and six granddaughters; her mother, Gwendolyn Joyce Howard; her sister, Pamela Murray; her brother, Randy Howard; her sister, Teresa Gerena; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 31st, 2026 in the Ridge Sanctuary at Companion Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 2412 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37311 from 5:00-8:00pm. A second visitation will be held June 1st, 2026 from 11:00-12:00pm at the Ridge Sanctuary. A celebration of life service will be held following the visitation at 12:00 pm with a burial to follow at Lee Cemetery.
Tammy's memory will live on through the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the countless moments of joy she brought to those around her.
