Susan Hickman

Susan Diane Hickman, age 70, of Niota, Tennessee, passed away on December 23, 2025, at Sweetwater Hospital.

Susan was born on May 19, 1955, to the late Dave and Beatrice Ratledge. She was of the Baptist faith and found great joy in quilting. Above all else, Susan cherished her family, who were her greatest passion. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, John Ratledge.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Farner (Charles) and Kevin Hickman (Kelly); grandchildren, Makayla Moore (Jordan), Cole Hickman, Scott Farner, and Jacob Farner; her precious great-grandson, Ronan Moore; her loving sister, Velma Gentry; sister-in-law, Toby Ratledge; and a host of other family members and friends.

A private family burial will be held to lay Susan to rest. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may contact the funeral home or visit any of their offices to make a donation toward funeral arrangements.
