Sue Lynn Kelley passed away peacefully at her home on March 11, 2026.

She was born in 1956 in North Georgia and moved as a child to Cleveland. She was a devoted mother and spent her days as a constant figure at McDonald Elementary School where her two oldest daughters attended. She cherished that school and community. She was so involved that she ultimately ended up working in the cafeteria there in various capacities until the school was ultimately closed. As her girls grew, she focused on her career as an Insurance Agent at Lawhorn and Associates.

She is survived by her daughters and their families. Lacy Michelle Kelley, her partner Thomas Smith, and grandson Alistair Smith. Shae Danielle Kelley and her husband, Russell Dixon and four granddaughters Maisyn, Waylynn, Kylie and Marlee Dixon.

Felicia Sara Kelley and her fur babies. Her sister-in-law Gail Banther, her husband Paul Banther and their children Pam Murphy (Rodney) and Greg Banther (Karen). Nieces Misty Ferrell and her son Cody Moses, Samantha Kelley and her son Oliver, and nephew Jeff Kelley and his sons Chase and Cowen.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Charles Michael "Mike" Kelley. Her mother Geraldine "Jerry" Ruth Keller Hunt. Her father Harry M. Keller. Her sister Teresa Keller, and brother David M. Keller. Her in-laws, Edward (Edd) and Anna Kelley of McDonald. Her brothers-in-law Danny Joe Kelley and wife Sharon Davis Kelley, Dean Kelley, and Marty Kelley. And a great nephew Ryan Moses.

A visitation with friends and family will be at Companion Funeral Home, Monday, March 23, 2026 from 5-8pm.
