Steven Michael Ronquillo

Steven Michael Ronquillo was born on September 12, 1970, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to Leona Baird Ronquillo and Rene Ronquillo. He passed away on August 9, 2026, at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his sister and nieces by his side.

He was a wonderful brother and uncle who loved horror movies and enjoyed attending horror movie conventions with his friends and cousin, Anson Beckett. He will be fondly remembered for his podcast, Steve's Video Store, which he co-hosted with his good friend Karl Kaefer. Steven adored all his pets and was recently preceded in death by his beloved beagle, Princess.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rene Ronquillo, and grandparents Bascal "Buss" Baird, Asa Lee Elmore Baird, Apolonio Ronquillo, and Maria Jesus Guzman Ronquillo. Steven is survived by his mother, Leona Baird Ronquillo; sister, Melissa Roesser Johnson (Vann); fiancée, Tracy Johnson; several aunts and uncles; nieces Jessica Reid (Jordan) and Emily Cook (Nick); cousins; and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, 653 Briarcliff Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN, on September 12, 2026, at 1 p.m.
