Steven Douglas Kazy Sr.

Steven Douglas Kazy, Sr., age 74, passed away on February 8, 2026. Born on December 31, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Blanche Kazy; and his brothers, Jerry Kazy and Bill Kazy.

Steven is survived by his devoted wife, Martha Kazy; his children, Doug Kazy (Hanna) and Jennifer Nash; his brothers, Gary Kazy, James "Bo" Kazy, and Mike Kazy; and his sisters, Joyce Lamm, Rita Doyle, and Sandy Westberry. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Steven found great joy in cheering on the Detroit Tigers and, most importantly, spending time with his family. Whether gathered for a game or simply enjoying one another's company, those moments meant the most to him. His love for family, his loyalty, and his quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Philippi Baptist Church in Cleveland. Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel is honored to assist the family with these arrangements.
