Donnie Hayes

Steven "Donnie" Hayes, 64, of Sweetwater, TN unexpectedly passed away on February 27, 2026.

Donnie enjoyed spending time fishing and was a devoted fan of the Tennessee Vols, always cheering them on. He was a gentle soul who rarely became upset and carried a calm, easygoing spirit. Donnie was a simple, kind man whose presence brought comfort to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie Hayes; brother, Bobby Hayes; sister, Judy Monroe; brother in-law, Johnny Miller; special friend, Richard Sampson.

Survivors include his sister, Linda Miller; and many nieces, nephews and other loved family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
