Steven D. "Buddy" Davis

Steven Duanne "Buddy" Davis, 55 of Cleveland, Tennessee went home to be with his lord and Savior on Monday, July 27, 2026 surrounded by his family and friends.

Buddy was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN. He graduated Bradley Central High School class of 1989. He went on to volunteer at Bradley County Fire and Rescue, and eventually followed in his father's footsteps in the construction business. Buddy attended New Fellowship Baptist Church, where he played the bass. He had a passion for all genres of music. He couldn't pass up a good guitar solo. Buddy enjoyed bass fishing, drag racing, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his 8 grandchildren. He truly enjoyed acts of service. He loved to to fire up the grill and cook for everyone. Anyone who met Buddy had a friend.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tiffani Davis; mother Sheila Davis; children Steven (Jeni) Davis, Brittani Allen, Bradley Goodwin; grandchildren Karson Robbins, Emma Robbins, Makenzy Evans, Coraline Davis, Charlie Davis, Hayden Goodwin, Lilly Goodwin, Layla Goodwin; In-Laws, Donny Shirley Lewallen, Jason Alicia Lewallen; Niece/Nephews, Tatiana Lewallen, Taylor Lewallen; Special friends, Gary Everheart, Mark Howard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rev Steve Davis; grandparents, Leonard Marie Davis, Elmer Beatrice Brackett; grandchildren, Tucker Ridge Davis, Justin Daniel Robbins.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to cover Buddy's final costs.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Pastor Fletcher Ferris and Pastor Randy Hill officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.
