Stephen Gates

Stephen Mitchell Gates, 58, of LaFayette, GA, passed away February 28, 2024. He was born to the late Frank Gates and Diane Gates on July 17, 1965, and of the Christian faith.

Steve loved riding his motorcycle, cheering for TN Vols, and umpiring softball.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arlen Gates and Fred Waters; grandmothers, Sue Gates and Maggie Waters; and several aunts and uncles.

Stephen is survived by his daughter's, Brandi (Tyler) Roberston and Kandi (Bryce) Williams; siblings, Beverly (Keith) Knight and Bob (Wanda)Gates; grandchildren, Chole Roberston, Easton Robertson, Addilee Williams, and Bradley Williams.
