In Loving Memory of Shirley Ann Lawson

Shirley Ann Lawson, age 62, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 30, 2026, at the hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 24, 1964, Shirley lived a life centered on the people she loved most. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a caring sister, and a faithful friend. For 31 wonderful years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Randy Lawson. Together they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 31 years, Randy Lawson; her son, LJ Cordell; her treasured granddaughter, Jeni Cordell; her stepsons, Charlie (Vickie) Lawson and Jason Lawson; and her beloved grandchildren, Steven Shahan, Carlie Lawson, Cody Lawson, Keith Lawson, Tyler Lawson, Chloe Lawson, and Brinlee Lawson.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Mollie Bowman; her sisters, Nancy Williams, Sharon (Andy) Coffee, Deborah (Billy) Suttles, and Carolyn McCallie; her brothers, Charles (Lisa) Bowman, Kenneth Bowman, and Billy (Abby) McClure; her brothers-in-law, Mike (Karen) Lawson and Jeffrey Lawson; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Shirley was welcomed into eternal rest by her father, Henry Bowman, and her beloved daughter, Jenny Wright, who preceded her in death.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Shirley was surrounded by those who loved her most in her final moments. The memories she created, the love she shared, and the kindness she showed to others will continue to live on through her family and everyone blessed to know her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will never be forgotten.

The family has entrusted Shirley's care to Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland, Tennessee. Shirley's family will recieve friends on Friday July 3rd from 1pm until 3pm in the "Ridge Sanctuary" of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3pm with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest at McInturff Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Lawson, DJ Williams, Michael Bowman, Jason Bowman, Buddy Suttles, and Justin Kelly.
